This trip takes you from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in just ten days. Travel between the major highlights is covered by domestic flights where possible to maximize your touring days and to reduce the traveling time. This tour covers the entire essential must see destinations in the country.

Day 1: HaNoi arrival (D)
Arrive in HaNoi. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner featured with specialities.
Night in HaNoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B,L)
AM: Pick up at your hotel . Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We then continue on to the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist - dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch we’ll proceed to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam - Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. For the last part of the tour we’ll journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration.

Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Museum close on Monday and Friday morning.
Optional: We introduce four one-of-a-kind traditional performances which are found nowhere else than in Vietnam. You can choose one of below options:
- Water Puppet Show where puppets are performed on water stage with folk music, presenting ancient tales, folklores and daily life in Vietnamese countryside.
- Soul of Vietnamese village is the first show about Vietnamese folk music with the participation of talented artists who have dilevered performances at international music festivals with “dan bau” (monochord), “dan nhi” (2-string zither), “dan day” (plucked lute), “thap luc” (16-string zither), “tam thap luc” (36-string zither), flute, drum and nearly 20 folk musical instruments made from bamboo typical of Vietnamese countryside.
- Lang Toi “My village” is Vietnamese Culture Show, merged of tradition and innovation, where poetic beauty of Vietnamese village life is presented under new cirque approach using iconic bamboo; breathtaking cirque and twenty different exotic folk instruments performing live.
- The quintessence of Tonkin draws inspiration from the spiritual history of the nearby Thay Pagoda telling the story of the pagoda's founding by venerable monk Tu Dao Hanh, and explains the ancient union between religion and the monarchy. Years in the making and with hundreds of performers, an interactive stage, state-of-the-art technology, and a stunning setting, this live spectacle is an unmissable highlight of any trip to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D) Sharing Legacy Cruise
07h30 – 08h00: Pick up and . Depart for Halong city through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta
10h15: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break
12h30: Arrive at Halong habour, transfer to the Legacy Legend Cruise by tender, enjoy welcome drinks & check-in your cabin.
- Lunch is served while cruising through Halong bay toward LAN HA bay, passing: Ba hang fishing villages, Dinh Huong islets, Fighting Cock rock.
15h00: Visit Titop island or Soi Sim island - one of the most beautiful island in Halong bay where you can climb up to the top & enjoy amazing Halong panorama view. Or swimming at the nice beach.
16h15: Kayaking & swimming in the Lan Ha bay, you will do kayaking around the bay. You will have got around 45 minutes to explore the tranquil bay yourself
17h15: Back to the Legacy Legend Cruise, cruising to Luom Bo area for docking and sleeping.
Time for relaxing afternoon, make the most of sunbathing on deck. Taking picture on the way... Enjoy the small party with fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea.
19h00: Dinner is served in the restaurant.
21h00: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, dancing, karaoke; watch movie or enjoy night fishing… Relax and spend a romantic night on board
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – DongHoi (B,L) Train
Start your day with Taichi exercises or a photo hunt. 07h00: Breakfast, coffee and tea and served while cruising ahead to Halong Bay.
08h00: Visit splendid Splendid grottos. This is one of the most beautiful grotto in Halong bay. You will feel surprise about imposing of stalagmites, stalactites and many legend stories about that
09h15: Back to Legacy Legend boat. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Keep sailing back to the Habour through the waters and passing many beautiful islets and island on the Halong Bay.
10h30: Vietnamese Cooking Class.
11h00: An early lunch is served.
12h00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew
12h45: Return from Halong to Hanoi
Around 17h00: Arrive in Hanoi. Free and easy
Then we take you to Hanoi railway station for night train to Dong Hoi. Overnight on train (soft sleeper, cabin of 4 berths).
Day 5: DongHoi – PhongNha – Hue (B,L)
Pick up at Dong Hoi railway station upon your arrival, have breakfast then transfer to Phong Nha Cave.visit Phong Nha Cave, start by boating on Son River to discover Phong Nha Cave, visit the caves named Bi Ky, Tien Nu, Tien Son, Imperial.
pick the tourists up at the boat station by car, depart for Hue city
On the way, visit the Holy Land of La Vang (it is named the Minor Basilica), continue visiting Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River. Drop you off at Hue hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue city tour (B,L)
08.00: Pick you up from the hotel in Hue, then transfer to the pier for a motor dragon boat ride along Perfume river, the first impression is a green and peaceful on both side of the river. First stop at Thien Mu pagoda, the magnificent architecture was found in 17th century. Transfer back to Hue city to visit the Imperial Citadel, Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynasty Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace. Enjoy lunch at restaurant for special dishes in Hue.
This afternoon you will continue to visit the mausoleums of Nguyen’s Kings like Tu Duc tomb. Free for shopping at DongBa market. Night in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – MySon holyland – HoiAn (B,L)
AM: We travel from Hue to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges.
Arrive in My Son early afternoon. Walk around with your guide for 2 hours to see the historic and cultural ruins of the 16th century, you will be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization. Then leave My Son for HoiAn. Night in HoiAn.
Day 8: Visit Hoi An ancient town (B,L)
In the morning, We will arrange a boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages ( Thanh Ha pottery village, Kim Bong carpentry village). Continue to visit Lantern village . Here you will have a brief introduction into the history, shape, and color of the lanterns, as well as the many stages of making them. You can make your own lantern and keep it as a souvenir.
Lunch. Continue half day to explore Hoian town: the Japanese Covered Bridge-the symbol of Hoian. Step back in time to discover the Chinese street with stunning Phuc Kien Hall and Phung Hung old house typical of Hoian original architecture. We then visit Hoi An vibrant market and ancient port to explore the rythm of local daily life and savor the true color, flavor and taste of the oriental. Finally, we visit Phuc Thanh Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hoi An built in 1454 with Chinese bonze.
Night in HoiAn.
Day 9: HoiAn – DaNang – NhaTrang (B) Flight
Transfer from HoiAn to DaNang airport for flight to NhaTrang, the guide will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. The left of the day is open for free sea bathing at NhaTrang beach.
Night in NhaTrang.
Day 10: NhaTrang boat trip (B,L)
Start from your hotel to Cau Da port. Take boat trip to visit Mun Island, Mot island, fishing village. Lunch. Sea-bathing in the blue water beach. You can also enjoy diving or snorkeling at the islands (on your account).
Night in NhaTrang.
Day 11: NhaTrang – HoChiMinh city (B,) Flight
Am: free and easy
In time private transfer to NhaTrang airport for flight to HoChiMinh city. Pick up at TanSonNhat airport then transfer to your hotel.
Night in HoChiMinh city.
Day 12: HoChiMinh city – CuChi tunnels (B,L)
08.00: Pick up at your hotel. We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. Lunch to be arranged at nice restaurant.
Start CuChi tunnels tour in the afternoon, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Return to your hotel.
Night in HoChiMinh City.

The show is a mix of bamboo cirque, acrobatic acts, contemporary dance and theatrical visual art. Mesmerizing live music, which echoes Southern work songs, scenic lighting design, and unique bamboo creatures make this performance a must-see during anyone’s visit to HoChiMinh City.

Day 13: HoChiMinh city - Mekong - MyTho (B,L)
08.00: Pick up at your hotel, depart by road for Mekong Delta and its gateway city of My Tho, located 72 km south west of the city. Board a riverboat for an excursion across the Mekong through islands covered with lush flora and small rural communities. Cruise to Thoi Son Island where you will have the opportunity to visit a local house and taste some of the fruits that are grown locally in the orchards. Parkway in orchards, tasting tropical fruits. Lunch is at a local restaurant where you will have the chance to sample a local specialty: ‘elephant ear' fish. Back to habor .
Night in HoChiMinh city.
Day 14: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Free time until transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight out of Vietnam.
