Arrive at Noi Bai airport, you are picked up and transferred to your hotel by the tour guide.If time permits, we will take a short city tour to visit some of Hanoi attractions.
In the afternoon, You will start the day with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, where you can learn about the country’s long-standing educational traditions and admire its peaceful courtyards and well-preserved ancient architecture.
Continue with a leisurely walk through the Hanoi Old Quarter, discovering its narrow streets, bustling local life, traditional shops, and colonial influences. The walk then leads you to Ngoc Son Temple, beautifully located on a small island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks.
Then continue enjoy one of Vietnam’s most unique cultural performances at a traditional Water Puppet Show, showcasing folk stories and live traditional music. Dinner will be served at a carefully selected local restaurant.

Pick-up from your hotel at 08:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival, visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, two national heroes of the 10th century who established Hoa Lu as the capital of Dai Viet.
Continue for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat trip on small rowing boats to explore the stunning landscapes of Tam Coc, often referred to as the “Halong Bay on land” for its dramatic limestone karsts and peaceful waterways. The name “Tam Coc” means “three caves”, which you will pass through during the boat journey.
The journey continues with a short drive of about 2 km to Bich Dong Grotto, an emerald-like complex of caves and pagodas nestled against the mountainside. From the Upper Pagoda, take in panoramic views of the surrounding rice paddies and the Truong Yen Mountains. Bich Dong was once honored by the king as “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”, and it was also featured in the famous French film Indochine in 1991.
Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

You will have free time to further explore Hanoi at your own pace, allowing you to relax, discover the city’s charming streets, or enjoy some last-minute shopping for local souvenirs and handicrafts. This is a great opportunity to experience Hanoi’s daily life, cafés, and local markets on your own.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport by our driver and English-speaking guide for your onward departure, bringing your journey in Vietnam to a pleasant close.
